The airport itself has five terminals and 171 gates.   1. My kids need to play while we wait for flights. Is there a place for that? DFW is a family friendly airport. There’s a McDonald’s play area at Terminal D with a foam play place and seating. There’s also a walking path through Terminal D.

Note that pets must be leased at all times, and you need to study up on the appropriate pet carriers needed for your travels.
