Under the Texas State Board of Education ranking system, The school districts serving Fairview (Lovejoy and McKinney) continue to excel as examples of exemplary education within the area therefore; preparing an extremely knowledgeable and talented group of students who are prepared for the future. 
 

Lovejoy ISD

•  Ranked #2 out of 1,217 school districts in performance on the State of Texas Assessment
   of Academic Readiness (STAAR) exams
•  One of 24 school districts in Texas recognized for college readiness
•  63% of students are enrolled in AP/IB classes
•  SAT 1678 (average score), 188 points higher than national average
•  99.6% graduation rate
•  97% of graduates attend college 

 

McKinney ISD

•  1 of only 388 Districts in the Nation and 1 of only 21 school districts in Texas, to be named
   by the College Board to the AP Achievement List
•  46% of students are enrolled in AP/IB classes
•  SAT 1591 (average score), 101 points higher than the national avg.
•  96% graduation rate
•  59% of graduates attend college in Texas

 

Colleges & Universities

North Texas is home to more than 30 colleges and universities offering a variety of undergraduate, graduate and professional degrees as well as continuing education classes.
